B. Carlson Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing is pleased to announce our partnership with the Roadrunner Food Bank for the 3rd year in a row. Throughout the 2015 food drive season we will be collecting nonperishable food items and online donations to help feed the hungry in New Mexico.
As we perform your HVAC service this holiday season, our heating and cooling technicians will be happy to collect your nonperishable food donations and bring them into our office; otherwise you are welcome to stop by our office and leave your donation.
Roadrunner Food Bank of Albuquerque, NM
The Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico has been serving New Mexico’s hungry since 1980 and works to reduce the number of those without food. As the largest Food Bank in the state, they distribute more than 30 million pounds of food annually to a network of partner agencies and four regional food banks. In turn, these agencies provide food directly to the hungry in our communities across the state.
Types of Nonperishables to Donate
When it comes to nonperishables, not everything is created equal. We’ve included some healthier nonperishable options that food banks love to receive!

- Low-sodium canned vegetables
- Canned tuna, chicken, and salmon
- Shelf-stable milk
- Whole grain pasta
- Brown rice
- Oatmeal
- Peanut butter
- Beans
